Welcome to iLoveLondon.com (“we”, “our”, “us”), operated by Quassim Yafai trading as iLoveLondon.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website, including its editorial guides, paid-access planning tools and email newsletter. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under UK law. Where a term below would be unfair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it does not apply to you.
1. Independence of iLoveLondon.com
iLoveLondon.com is an independent travel-information website providing editorial guides and visitor tools. It is run by one person as a sole trader. We accept payment for access to our own digital guides and tools. We do not take bookings or payments for, and we do not operate, the third-party tours, activities, hotels, tickets or other travel services featured on the website.
If we separately offer one of our own products directly, it will be clearly identified, and any product-specific sale, delivery, cancellation and refund terms displayed for that product will apply in addition to these terms.
We are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Transport for London, the Mayor of London, or any official tourism body. The use of “London” in our branding refers solely to the geographic area.
Transport for London, TfL, “Tube” and the roundel are trademarks of Transport for London. We refer to them only to describe TfL’s services, and we are not authorised by or connected with TfL.
2. Use of the Website
This website provides travel information, editorial guides, travel-planning tools, affiliate links, embedded third-party widgets and an optional email newsletter.
- All information is provided for general guidance and informational purposes only.
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit others.
3. Accuracy of Travel Information
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but opening times, prices, transport services, accessibility, entry rules and availability can change without notice. Content may also contain errors or become out of date.
Always check important details directly with the relevant official authority or service provider before booking or travelling. The website is for general information and trip-planning only, and is not professional, safety, legal, immigration, medical or financial advice.
4. Digital Access, Tools and Area Guides
A one-time payment of £4.99 provides access to the 32 London area day guides and eight planning tools described on the checkout page. Payment is processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card or bank-account details.
Access begins after PayPal confirms a completed payment. We use a necessary access cookie and provide a private access link. Keep that link private. You may use the content for your own trip planning, but may not publish, share, sell or distribute the private link or protected content.
Before checkout, you are asked to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that your 14-day cancellation right is lost once access to the digital content begins. This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. See our Refund Policy.
Our tools, including the Tube fare calculator and the walking checker, are provided for personal trip-planning and budgeting. They produce estimates from the information you enter and from the assumptions, fare tables, station information and calculation methods described on the relevant tool page.
Fare data. The rail fares and caps built into the fare calculator were last checked against Transport for London’s published figures as at 1 March 2026. TfL normally revises fares in early March, and bus and tram fares change on their own timetable. The tool page shows the dates it is working from. Always confirm the current fare with TfL before you travel.
- Not official TfL tools. The tools are produced independently by iLoveLondon.com. They are not provided, approved or endorsed by Transport for London.
- Fare estimates. Fare results are estimates rather than quotations. Actual charges may differ because of the exact route taken, times of travel, incomplete journeys, special services, concessions, fare changes, payment method, or TfL’s application of its own rules.
- Walking estimates. Walking times and comparisons are computer-generated planning estimates based on station coordinates and stated assumptions. They are not live or turn-by-turn directions and may not reflect the actual available route, crossings, closures, gradients, lighting, weather, crowding, personal mobility, accessibility or safety conditions.
- Check before travelling. Confirm fares, routes, disruption, accessibility and other important details with Transport for London, the relevant operator or another official source before relying on them.
- Local operation. Tool calculations run in your browser. Access checks and some settings use necessary cookies or browser storage, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
- Availability. We may correct, update, suspend or withdraw a tool. We do not guarantee that a tool will always be available or compatible with every browser or device.
Please do not use a tool as your only source of navigation, or as a substitute for current official information, professional advice or your own assessment of conditions on the day.
5. Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access and use this website for your own personal or internal business trip-planning purposes, subject to these terms.
Unless you have our written permission, or the use is permitted by law, you may not:
- Copy, republish, scrape, redistribute or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website
- Resell our content, or systematically extract it to build a competing product or database
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or related systems
- Introduce malware, interfere with security, or disrupt the website
- Use the website in an unlawful, fraudulent or abusive way
Nothing in these terms prevents uses permitted by applicable law.
6. Copyright
Unless otherwise stated, original text, layout, design and graphics created for iLoveLondon.com are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Third-party photographs, logos, names, widget content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
For more information, including how to report a copyright concern, see our Copyright Notice.
7. Affiliate Disclosure
iLoveLondon.com participates in affiliate programmes, including programmes for tours, activities, hotels and theatre tickets. Our current partners include GetYourGuide and Theatre Tickets Direct. We are also a publisher in the Awin affiliate network, through which advertisers including hotel booking providers are promoted on our hotel page and elsewhere on the site.
Where the commercial nature of a link or a block of content is not otherwise obvious, we identify it on the page itself so that you know before you click.
If you follow an affiliate link and make a booking or purchase from the third-party provider, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not make us the seller, supplier, booking agent or contracting party. An affiliate network such as Awin is not the seller either — it records the referral so that any commission can be paid to us.
Any contract is between you and the third-party provider, and is subject to that provider’s prices, terms, privacy notice, cancellation and refund policies. Questions about a booking, payment, cancellation, refund or service must be directed to that provider.
8. Email Newsletter
We offer a free, optional email newsletter. Subscribing is not required to use the website, and you can leave at any time.
- Signing up. You must use a valid email address that you own or are authorised to use. Please do not subscribe anyone else without their permission. We use confirmed opt-in, so a subscription is only active once you click the confirmation link we email you.
- What we send. Typically one email a week containing London news, events, places to visit, offers and things to do. Frequency and content may vary, and we do not guarantee that any particular edition will be sent, delivered or arrive at a set time.
- Commercial content. Newsletters may include affiliate links, sponsored placements and third-party offers from which we may earn a commission. Any purchase or booking you make is with that third party on their terms, exactly as set out in section 7 above.
- Offers. Deals, prices and availability featured in an email are set by the relevant provider and can change or expire without notice. We are not the seller and cannot honour, extend or reinstate a third-party offer.
- Information only. Newsletter content is general information for trip planning. Section 3 on the accuracy of travel information applies to our emails in the same way as to the website.
- Unsubscribing. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email us and we will remove you.
- Removing subscribers. We may change, pause or discontinue the newsletter. We may also remove a subscriber — for example where an address bounces repeatedly, appears to be invalid, or is used abusively.
- Content in emails. Newsletter text, layout and original images are covered by section 6 and our Copyright Notice. Please do not republish an edition in full without permission.
How we handle your name, email address and subscription records is explained in our Privacy Policy. The newsletter is delivered using AWeber, and their systems store your subscriber details on our behalf.
9. Third-Party Services
This website may feature links, widgets or information from third-party sites.
- We do not control third-party websites and do not guarantee their content, services, availability, security, prices or policies.
- We rely on third-party providers for hosting, PayPal payment processing, embedded booking widgets and newsletter delivery.
- A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product or service on the linked website.
- You should review the provider’s terms and policies before making a booking or payment.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, iLoveLondon.com is not liable for:
- Loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or the newsletter
- Reliance on website or newsletter content, listings, recommendations or travel information
- Third-party providers, venues, services, widgets or websites
- Expired, withdrawn or misdescribed third-party offers, prices or availability
- The acts, omissions, cancellations or insolvency of third-party providers
- The failure, delay or non-delivery of a newsletter email
- Website or newsletter downtime, errors or technical issues
- Indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you use this website for business purposes, we will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, data or goodwill.
11. Website Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website, the tools or the newsletter. Where reasonably practical we will avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, or that every newsletter email will reach your inbox. Your statutory rights in relation to purchased digital content are not affected.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to the website, our business model or the law. Changes take effect when published on this page. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated. We review them at least once a year.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any non-contractual disputes arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the part of the United Kingdom or the country where you live. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
